Merchant Cost Forgiveness

SBA Lynx Payment offers help for small businesses affected by COVID-19.

A Merchant Cost Forgiveness Program that helps businesses reduce the burden of cost after the COVID-19 crisis.

Program overview

Applicants for the Merchant Cost Forgiveness may be eligible to receive up to $11,000 in refund of the authorization credit card fee cost from SBA Lynx Payment at the end of term. This is an forgiveness, the applicant does not have to pay it back.

To receive a forgiveness refund, you must first apply for a Merchant Cost Forgiveness. Once you apply for the merchant cost forgiveness, SBA Lynx Payment will invite you via email to apply for one of the terms if your business is qualify.

Who may qualify

The following entities affected by COVID-19 may be eligible:

  • Sole proprietors, corporations, partnership,...

  • Any small business concern that meets SBA Lynx Payment’s size standards.

  • Any business with a NAICS code that begins with 72 (Accommodations and Food Services) that has more than one physical location and employs less than 500 per location

All new Merchant Cost Forgiveness Program will have the different terms.

Apply with your:

  • Business License

  • Owner Driver License

  • Business Voided Check

  • Processing Statement

The Cash Discount "Freedom of Fees" Program is a way for you as a merchant to offset some or all of your current merchant service fees without increasing your overall rates.


It is a method of implementing a service fee to all customers while giving a discount to those who pay with cash.  Your posted rates now become the rate for those who pay with cash.


Those customers who pay with cash avoid the services fee and all others will see a line item added to their receipt. And they are willing to pay by cash.
